Abstract The National Farm Workers Association (NFWA) was founded in 1962. In 1966 it affiliated with the Agricultural Workers Committee to form the United Farm Workers Organizing Committee (UFWOC). In 1973 the UFWOC became the United Farm Workers, AFL-CIO.
