Wayne State University Professor of History Philip Mason interviewed labor economist and activist Katherine Pollak Ellickson in 1975. Collection consists of interview recordings and transcript, in which she explains the inventory of the papers that she donated to Wayne State University. Topics covered include the women's rights movement and the labor movement, particularly within the AFL-CIO. Also covered is the AFL-CIO merger.

Ted F. Silvey Papers

Abstract
Ted Silvey began in the printer's trade before moving up the ranks in the Ohio Congress of Industrial Organizations and joining the national CIO Speakers Bureau in 1944. In that capacity, he lectured at labor union schools, union meetings and conferences, and non-union gatherings. His papers document his public speaking for the CIO as well as his writings, especially those on automation, computer, and industrial technology.
