Abstract This collection consists of transcripts of interviews with Charles Ashleigh (born in 1892) conducted by the Sussex Society for the Study of Labor History in 1973 and 1975. Ashleigh describes his personal experiences with the Industrial Workers of the World and other radical groups in the years prior to and during World War I and the early 1920s.

Abstract Samuel Krieger was born in Russia on August 20, 1902. Mr. Krieger came to the United States at age two and grew up in New York and New Jersey. He graduated from grammar school and went to work in the aircraft industry. Mr. Krieger was a member and recruiter for the Industrial Workers of the World. He served as an international representative for the International Union of Mine, Mill and Smelter Workers.
