Abstract Frank Salazar was in the United States Postal Service for 32 years, and started as a shop steward at the age of 24. Salazar became a National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) union steward in 1991 and went on to serve as a full-time officer in 1995. Salazar was elected President of NALC Tri-Valley Branch 2902 (Chatsworth, CA) in 2006 and served until his retirement in 2017.

Abstract James H. Rademacher was elected the 14th president of the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) at the 46th Biennial Convention in 1968 and held that position until 1976.
