Collection consists of transcripts and recordings for 19 oral history interviews conducted with founding and early members of UAW Local 600, and in some cases children or spouses. Most interviews span multiple tapes.
Includes interviews with the following 22 participants: Archie Acciacca, Ken Bannon, Ann and Paul Boatin (interviewed together), Walter Dorosh, William Johnson, John Mando, Henry McCusker, Arthur McPhaul, David Moore, Stanley and Margaret Nowak (interviewed together), John Orr, George Pluhar, Jr. (son of George Pluhar), Victor Reuther, Deloris and Kenneth Roche (interviewed together), John “Whitey” Saari, Horace Sheffield, Shelton Tappes, Thomas Yeager, and Mike Zarro. Shelton Tappes interviewed by Judith Stepan-Norris and Maurice Zeitlin. All others interviewed by Judith Stepan-Norris.

Sound quality on the Victor Reuther interview is poor.
