The papers of the Illinois Labor History Society were placed in the Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs between 1979 and 1984 by the Illinois Labor History Society and were opened for research in December of 1984.

One reel of 16mm. film relating to the IWW has been placed in the Archives Audiovisual Collection.
