Abstract

Cecil Halbert was the college roommate of Walter Reuther when they attended the City College of Detroit together from 1927-1931 and a close friend of Walter and his family in the early 1930s. His papers consist of a letter written to Cecil from Walter Reuther.

History

Cecil Halbert, one-time owner of a tool and die shop in Detroit, was a college roommate of Walter Reuther for four years, 1927-1931, when both attended the College of the City of Detroit, and he was a close friend of Walter Reuther and his family in the early thirties.
