The papers of Mr. Carlson consist of announcements and flyers distributed by the Steel Workers Organizing Committee (S.W.O.C.) in the Johnstown plant in its effort to organize the Bethlehem steel workers in June of 1941. The collection also contains a few clippings related to the organizing efforts of the S.W.O.C.
