Biographical / Historical

Charles R. Anderson was a member of UAW Local 662 in Anderson, Indiana, serving the local union’s CAP Council and Citizenship and Legislative Committee. In 1991, he received the Walter P. Reuther Distinguished Service Award for his work with the union. Before that, his expansive career included membership in the United Glass Workers, multiple terms as Delaware County AFL-CIO President, and serving the State Department in training union members in the Republic of Cyprus.
