Abstract

A pioneer unionist in the Ford Foundry, Local 400, Stephen Adamcyk was presented with a plaque in June 1972 honoring him for his service of 35 years to the union. The collection consists of union dues receipts, flyers, and a piece of correspondence relating to union organizing in the Ford Motor Company in 1941.

History

Stephen Adamcyk was a pioneer unionist in the Ford Foundry, Local 400. In June 1972 Local 400 presented Mr. Adamcyk with a plaque honoring him for his service of 35 years to the union.

Acquisition

The papers of Stephen Adamcyk were placed in the Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs by Shelton Tappes in July of 1972 and were opened for research in July of 1991.
