Abstract

This collection consists of the records of Hazel E. Graham, a member of the Quarter System Ad Hoc Committee from the College of Education. The goal of the committee was to gather and present data to the Faculty Council, regarding the possibility of shifting from the traditional semester to the quarter system.

History

This collection consists of the records of Hazel E. Graham, a member of the Quarter System Ad Hoc Committee from the College of Education. Because of increasing enrollments and a demand for greater efficiency, W.S.U. studied the possibility of shifting from the traditional semester to the quarter system. The goal of the committee was to gather and present data to the Faculty Council, regarding the possibility of shifting from the semester to the quarter system.

Arranged in 1 series – Series 1 (Folder 1). Folder contains Memorandum and Correspondence in 1957 regarding appointment, purpose and operation of the committee. Also contains a Survey of the College of Education faculty.
