Will Poyfair was an hourly worker for the Buick Motor Company, Flint, Michigan. His papers consist of pocket diaries, primarily from 1912 to 1922. Daily entries are generally limited to hours worked, daily rate of pay, with frequent mention of type of work, i.e., assembly aprons, doors, etc.
Diaries arranged chronologically.
The papers of Will Poyfair were purchased by the Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs in February of 1979.
