History

Chartered on January 6, 1938, UAW Local 576 was located in Detroit. It represented the Divco Truck Division of the Divco-Wayne Corporation, a manufacturer of delivery trucks. Some of the past presidents of Local 576 from the mid 1940s to the mid 1960s were John Rolak, Herman Brunke, and Paul Klemme. The local's charter was revoked in 1969.

Acquisition
