UAW Local 292, an amalgamated local representing General Motors Delco Radio Division as well as Accurate Parts and Szabo Foods workers in Kokomo, Indiana, was chartered May 7, 1940. Ralph Rosselot, president of the local in the 1960s, was succeeded in 1971 by Denzil A. Ward.
