Scope and Content
Collection consists of interview recordings with these auto workers and labor organizers on their perspectives on or involvement with communism and the radical left, and its influence on the development of the UAW.Some interviews span multiple tapes, and some tapes contain multiple interviews. Audio quality on some recordings is poor.
Six interviews were conducted with the following seven participants: Irwin "Irv" Baur (also known as Erwin Baur) and Estar Baur (interviewed together; Irwin Baur also interviewed separately); Marty and Jessie Glaberman (interviewed together); Arthur "Art" McPhaul; Phil Raymond; and John Zupan.
