History
George Anthony O'Kon was born in 1901. Mr. O'Kon was employed by the Detroit Department of Street Railways and served in various positions, including conductor, motorman, and busdriver. Mr. O'Kon died in 1984.

Acquisition
The scrapbook of George O'Kon was placed in the Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs in July of 1984 by his son, George O'Kon.
