Correspondence, clippings, excerpts from actions of the General Executive Board, of the I.W.W., Union membership data, and a preliminary report of a proposed doctoral dissertation on the I.W.W. The correspondence primary letters from Robert McKean, a Glaswegian member of the I.W.W., to Goddard Graves. It also include a copy and a letter from William Haywood to N. Lenin.

Goddard Graves was a member of the Industrial Workers of the World and served as a member of its General Executive Board in 1975. The papers of Mr. Graves are fragmentary evidence of his involvement and con¬cern with the I.W.W.

The papers of Goddard Graves were placed by him in the Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs in April, 1974 and December, 1982.
A number of copper plates used for illustrations and logos for I.W.W. publications have been placed in the Archives Audiovisual Collections. Some of the plates are based upon the drawings of Joe Troy who did numerous cartoons for the I.W.W.
