Ted Andras was a member of the staff of radio station WDET-FM, the pioneer radio station of the United Auto Workers (UAW) established in Detroit, Michigan in the late forties. He later served in the Education Division of the UAW.

Ted Andras was a staff member of radio station WDET-FM, the pioneer radio station of the United Auto Workers established in the early 1940's. The collection is largely composed of records related to the construction of WDET-FM.
Folders are arranged alphabetically.
The papers of the Ted Andras were placed in the Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs in April of 1992 by Mr. Andras.
Approximately 41 photograph relating to the establishment of radio station WDET- FM have been placed in the Archives Audiovisual Collection.
