History
Bernard Joseph Schuck (1910-1997) worked for many years for the Guide Lamp Division of General Motors at its Anderson, Indiana, plant. He edited "The Lampmaker," the plant’s union paper, published by UAW Local 663. After he retired from Guide Lamp, he went on to edit the newsletter for the Midwest Labor Press Association. He was an active member of the labor press throughout his life.

Abstract
Bernard Schuck worked for many years for the Guide Lamp Division of General Motors
at its Anderson, Indiana, plant. He edited The Lampmaker, the plant’s union paper,
