William Stark was a teacher in the Cleveland public schools and his papers consist primarily of newspaper clippings and a few newsletters dealing with problems in the Cleveland public schools, including student violence, busing and teacher morale in the years 1975 to 1992.

Materials are arranged alphabetically.

Acquisition

The papers of William C. Stark were placed in the Archives of Labor and Urban Affairs by Mr. Stark in February 1980 and June and November of 1986 and opened for research in November of 1986. Additional papers were placed in the Archives by Mr. Stark between 1988 and 1992 and opened for research in July of 1992.
