Abstract

In 1976 and again in 1981, Warner Pflug interviewed labor activist and educator Stoyan Menton, who had been a pioneer in the UAW organizing drives of the 1930s. Consists of audio recordings and a transcript of two combined interviews with Mention about his association with the Socialist Party, his experiences as a radical student activist at Wayne State University in the 1930s, and his work as education director of UAW Local 400 at Ford’s Highland Park Plant in the 1940s. Both interviews span multiple tapes.
