Scope and Content

From the Collection: The majority of the office’s records consist of correspondence between locals, school districts, and the AFT. These records also give detailed information on organizing campaigns and negotiating contracts. Other materials include state constitutions, education related issues, lawsuits, legal decisions, state and federal legislation, pamphlets, salary information, news releases, newspaper articles, and union newsletters.
