This collection is comprised of three series: Series 1: Teaching, conferences and talks; Series 2: Women’s issues and organizations; Series 3: Writings and publications.

Series 1 includes the files relating to Camille Colatosti’s various teaching positions beginning with her work as a graduate student instructor at the University of Michigan while she was obtaining her degree. Some files from her time teaching at a number of other local colleges during the 1990s including Henry Ford Business College and Wayne State University, as well as teaching computer skills through Operation ABLE are also present in this series. Additionally, documents from conferences she presented at and talks she gave can be found in this series.

Series 2 contains information regarding Colatosti’s involvement with women’s organizations like 9to5, Focus on Women, and the Working Women’s Project This series also includes handouts, correspondence, evaluations, and other materials used for her sexual harassment workshops and also her work writing a stopping sexual harassment handbook. Of note are some pamphlets on racism in the workplace and gay and lesbian benefits.

Series 3 contains files on Colatosti’s writings for magazines and publications, covering labor, women, guns, youth, and a variety of other topics. These files include notes, resources, correspondence, and drafts of articles.
