Abstract Brookwood Labor College in Katonah, New York was founded in 1921 as an experimental college for labor specific classes. It was a residential college different from traditional colleges. It only lasted until 1937 when it fell victim to the depression. Abstract Nel Lindemulder worked for the Brookwood Labor Players touring troupe in 1937. She assisted with wardbrode and set scenery for the play "Sit-Down!" by William Titus that was performed that year. The collection contains a copy of the "Sit-Down!" script and a Brookwood Song Book.
