Abstract Between March and June 2005, Mike Smith interviewed Jerry Tucker in a series of interviews. Tucker was a longtime union activist, former executive board member of the United Auto Workers International Union, and a founder of the UAW New Directions movement. He also spoke and wrote on labor issues.
